In 1975, A Chorus Line (musical) debuted on Broadway. A multi-racial cast – it explores the lives of it’s main characters as they audition for a limited number of jobs in an upcoming show yet to be seen. It was one of my “starter” shows that I saw in the 80s with friends from The Backroom.
The musical was one of the longest running at the time – it’s music and themes touching many lives.
The movie was release in 1985 – the audio is low.
In the show, “Born as Ephram Ramirez in Spanish Harlem, Paul uses a stage name to audition for a chorus part in a new musical on Broadway.” This is his conversation with Zach it’s director.
