Im Lynde (pronounced em) joined NYC Pride in November 2025 as its Executive Director. Since 2001, Im led comprehensive and complex fundraising campaigns to support, sustain, and grow programs and services for mission-driven organizations. Im grew fundraising efforts for health, legal, social services, housing, and LGBTQ+ organizations on both coasts of the U.S., raising more than $115-million during his career. He has secured financial support from $3-million to $22-million annually from government, foundations, corporations, individuals, and special events. Prior to joining NYC Pride, Im served as Regional Vice President at Caron, a residential treatment center for substance use disorders. Raising more than $18-million annually, the funds provided hundreds of LGBTQ+ patients with treatment for significantly reduced fees or for free. Before Caron, Im was the Chief Development Officer at Urban Resource Institute (URI), the largest provider of shelter in New York for victims of intimate partner violence, and homeless families. With more than 4,000 beds, 700 staff and an operating budget of $120-million, Im helped secure funds to build and open a new shelter where residents could bring their pets, a first of its kind in New York. Previous organizations where Im led development efforts include, Immigration Equality, Pulmonary Hypertension Association, Lupus Research Alliance, Lupus Foundation of America, and Whitman-Walker Health. At these organizations, Im also served as Interim CEO, Interim COO, and is cross-trained in finance, operations, marketing and communications, information technology, and government relations & advocacy. Im is a passionate activist and advocate for all marginalized communities, people of color, women, children, and especially LGBTQIA+ people.
